Overall 21 students took part in the workshop, which took place in Switzerland and Italy.
They visited the Burckhaardt Compression AG in Winterthur, Switzerland, where all participants first met. Afterwards they went to Ferrara, Italy, where they had a tour of Polimeri Ferrara, and then they went to Florence, Italy. There they visited Nuovo Pignone.
In Florence at Nuovo Pignone different presentations to many different themes about compressors were given to the students.
Like the times before a special tasks was given to the students and the price for the best student was a one week trip to "ARIEL Compressor School" at Mount Vernon/Ohio/USA and the cost-free participation to the 5th EFRC conference.
