Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium

The first workshop took place in the year 2000 in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium with a number of seven participants.
The participants visited NEUMAN & ESSER in Übach-Palenberg/Germany, Wärtsila in Zwolle and Thomassen in Rheden, both the Netherlands, and at the end BASF in Antwerpen/Belgium, which was supported by TNO.
The students were accompanied by Prof. Gotthard Will of the TU Dresden and Prof. Gottfried Gneipel of the TU Bergakademie Freiberg.
